Daniel Baldwin and his estranged ex-wife have now filed for divorce and recent reports show that their two daughters have been removed from her home.
The woman filed for sole custody of the children, but the Department of Human Services removed the children from the home after stating that they saw multiple reasons that the children's welfare could be in danger.
Baldwin originally filed for divorce, but two months ago he dropped the petition. Last week, Joanne, his ex-wife, filed them again. She sought sole custody and thousands of dollars of child support each month.

North County San Diego to celebrate Pride weekend
Saturday October 8, will be the Pride celebration for North County San Diego. The event is called "Pride at the Beach" and is located from 11 to 6 pm at the Oceanside Pier.
The event is put on by the North County LGBT Coalition which was created in 2008 in order to help the LGBT community become more visible.
The celebration will include music, information booths, food and entertainment. Organizers have said that the Pride event gives the LGBT community a fun and safe place to socialize.

Jon Cryer to pay wife $8K/month for child support
Jon Cryer has been ordered to pay $8,000 a month in child support payments to his ex-wife, Sarah Trigger Cryer, even though he now has primary custody of the child.
Both Jon and Sarah remarried and Sarah had a child with her second husband. She initially had primary custody of her and Cryer's child and after her second divorce, of her younger child as well.
After her youngest child was injured at home, both children were given primary custody to their fathers. Originally, Cryer was ordered to pay $10,000 a month and now it has been lowered to $8,000. Jon found the that this situation was not fair, but the court said that it was best for the child.

Mel Gibson reaches settlement in custody case
Mel Gibson has now been ordered to pay his ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva $750,000 as a part of their child custody settlement.
The couple met in court again to discuss the details of the financial settlement for the agreement over their 1-year-old daughter. The details of the deal state the Gibson will give the money to Grigorieva in three equal installments of $250,000.
The first payment was made this week and the other two will be 2013 and 2016. The former couple will also share physical and legal custody of the child and Grigorieva will keep the house that she lives in until the daughter turns 18. After that, it will be sold and the money will go into a fund for their daughter.

Actors, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett have announced that the separation rumors that came out earlier this week are not true.
Rumors ran rampant this week that the couple, who share two children together, are ending their 13-year marriage. The couple then told US Weekly that this was not true and their "marriage was intact."
The couple married in 1997 after meeting on the set of Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Will also has another son from a previous marriage, whom Jada is the step mother to.

Child support from American Indian fathers may be hard to obtain
Mothers across the state of California are finding it difficult to obtain child support from American Indian father because of the tribal governments in the area.
The tribal governments in some areas are holding the payments or not enforcing American Indian father to pay the support. Many of the tribal governments, an exact number is not known, do not garnish income from fathers to pay the back child support because a formal child support is not required.
According to a chief judge with the Hoopa Valley Tribe, only 20 out of the 103 tribes that are federally recognized by California, have enforced child support systems.

Seaside Volleyball tournament celebrates 30th anniversary
Bud Light and Bud Light Lime present the 30th annual Seaside Beach Volleyball Tournament to take place on August 12 through the 14.
The event is expected to break records by being the world's largest volleyball tournament in the world. There will be 800 teams competing for almost $40,000 worth of cash prizes.
The event began as a small community event and now grown to feature more than 8,000 players, their friends and family and other spectators. The event has turned into an attraction to all in the area. The event is managed by the Elevation Group.
